Joao Constancia asserts breakup with Sue Ramirez is true; denies rumored disbandment of BoybandPH

Ayaw maniwala ang iba na break na sina Sue Ramirez at Joao Constancia ng BoybandPH matapos ang dalawang taong relasyon.

“Ah, wala na po talaga. It’s been a couple of months na,” malumanay na tugon ni Joao sa mediacon ng pelikulang Unbreakable nitong Nobyembre 20, Miyerkules ng gabi, sa 9501 Restaurant, ELJCC Bldg., ABS-CBN, Quezon City.

Akala ng iba, gimik lang iyon.

“Hindi naman po. We wouldn’t use that as an excuse or gimik, di ba?

"It’s true. It’s true," pagngiti ng binata, na may bahid ng pait.

Gumawa ba siya ng paraan para magkabalikan sila?

“Ahhm, yeah. I mean... I tried, we tried to fix things again, patch things together.

"Pero she wants to focus on herself muna, her career,” seryosong lahad niya.

“I guess, sometimes, you have to let people go to grow by themselves, you know.

“It’s just part of who we are, I guess.

"We just need time for ourselves muna, to focus on ourselves muna po."

Sayang! Ang ganda ng kanilang relasyon noon!

“Oo nga po, e. Yeah, it’s true.

"Pero hopefully... hopefully, things will work out again in the future. I’m praying,” pagtangu-tango ni Joao, who’s turning 23 on December 22.

Dagdag niya, “So, I wanna also give her the space that she wants.”

Kung gayon, malamig ang Pasko at birthday niya.

“Opo!” natawang pag-ayon ni Joao.

BOYBANDPH TO DISBAND?

First movie ni Joao ang Unbreakable, kung saan gumaganap siya bilang isa sa brothers ni Bea Alonzo.

Break na sila ni Sue. Nakipag-break na rin ba siya sa BoybandPH? Madi-disband na ba ang kanilang grupo by December?

“Ay! Hindi naman po! Wala naman pong break sa amin sa BoybandPH!” mabilis na pagtanggi ni Joao.

“To be honest, the situation with us right now is... there’s no disbandment. We’re still together.

“I guess, we’re just given the opportunity to go solo, explore our career paths here in showbiz.”

Lalo na sa acting?

“Opo! Ako naman po, iyon po naman talaga ang gusto ko, e.

"So I guess, the management, and even the boys know, and they support me with my dreams.”

Ano ang reaksiyon ng mga kasamahan niya sa BoybandPH na “nagsasarili” na siya sa pelikula?

“Masaya rin po sila sa akin. Kasi, alam naman po nila, matagal na po na gusto kong mag-acting talaga.

“So, they’re very supportive talaga.

"Whenever they see me, whenever I have new projects coming up, they’re very happy for me.

"They’re very supportive po," sabi ni Joao.
